Leadership Team
CJ Brock
Chief Executive Officer
Having co-founded TexAssist Surgical Assist Staffing in 2013, C.J. brings more than 16 years of experience in healthcare sales, sales management and operations, including several leadership roles. Having spent the majority of his career working with surgeons and administrators, C.J. saw the stress created when surgeons didn’t have adequate support in the O.R., nor felt their practice was being run effectively. Mr Brock’s leadership roles in sales, finance, planning and development within organizations such as Medtronic (formerly Covidien), Metagenics and Thorne Research have prepared him to lead TexAssist into the next generation of medicine – one fraught with growing regulatory complexity and rapid changes in reimbursement models.
C.J. holds a double BBA in Marketing and Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was also a four-year letter winner on the men’s golf team and earned first team All-Big Ten honors in back-to-back years. On Wisconsin!
When he’s not working, C.J. enjoys spending time with his wife Leasha and three children, Rileigh (16), Bowen (3) and Nora (1). Watching college sports and golf when time allows is a passion. He continues to compete at an elite level on the golf course as well, playing in tournaments at both the state and national amateur levels.
